EUROPEA is the first piece of song composed in seven European languages, and which themes are inspired by musics from seven European countries (Danemark, Germany, France, Netherlands, Greece, Czech Republic and Estonia). It is a Frederic Lory cantata, composed for the Cultural Villages of Europe network. It count the story of the European Union construction, from its origine to its actuality : "United in the diversity".

The singers are from the Music school of the Kreiz Breizh which perform the cantata as professionals. They are directed by the choire leader Elisabeth Leray.

The song has been composed for the Europea Ludens Rural Song project, supported by the Culture Program of European Union, Itinéraire Bis, Canal Carhaix, the Kreiz Breizh towns comunity, and with the main partner the Music and dance school of the Kreiz Breizh.
